How we handle information you share through this website. Last updated 22 October 2026.

Who we are

Jayant Luthra & Associates (“we”, “us”) is an independent information security and quality management consulting firm based in Pune, India. We are the data controller for personal information collected through this website. Contact: services@jayantluthra.com.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to send through the enquiry form:

  • your name and email address (required);
  • your phone number, organisation and the service you are interested in (optional);
  • the message you write.

We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not run tracking scripts on this site. Like any web server, our hosting platform may record technical details of a visit, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in standard server logs.

How we use it

We use your details to respond to your enquiry, to discuss and propose services, and to keep a record of that correspondence. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for unsolicited marketing. If we ever wish to send you anything beyond a reply to your enquiry, we will ask first.

Where it is stored and who processes it

We rely on these service providers to operate the website and receive enquiries:

  • Google Cloud (Cloud Run, Cloud Logging, Firebase Hosting) hosts the website and records submitted enquiries.
  • Google Workspace (Gmail and Google Apps Script) delivers each enquiry to our mailbox.
  • Cloudflare provides domain name (DNS) services.
  • Google Fonts serves the typefaces used on this site, so your browser connects to Google’s font servers when a page loads.

These providers may process data on servers outside India. They process it on our behalf under their own security and data-protection terms.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records in server logs are kept for up to 30 days. Emails are kept in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and any resulting engagement, and for as long as the law or our professional obligations require. You may ask us to delete your enquiry earlier.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and you may withdraw consent for us to contact you. If you are in India, these rights are recognised under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the corresponding rights under the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local supervisory authority. To exercise any of them, email services@jayantluthra.com.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS. Access to our mailbox and cloud accounts is restricted to authorised people. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send passwords, financial details or confidential client data through the enquiry form.
